Bucks for Brackets: Nonprofit March Madness Tournament

2023 Rules and Eligibility

The Miller Group cares about family, fun, and community. We invite you to join our March Madness group and win big for your nonprofit organization!

This year we have a Men’s bracket pool and a Women’s bracket pool!  You can submit a bracket for both or either one. 

Who is eligible

Employees of a 501(c)(3) organization may enter as representatives of their organization.

Prizes

First place – $1,000 check to your organization
Second place – $500 check to your organization
Third place – $250 check to your organization

• Only one winner per nonprofit per bracket will be recognized.
• You have the opportunity to win both brackets.
• The check will be made out to your organization and may not be used by you as an individual.

How it works

Join The Miller Group Pool through CBS Sports and fill out your bracket after the selection shows on Sunday, March 12 and make your final picks before the first round of games begin on Thursday, March 16, 2023 (11am CST) for the Men’s bracket and Friday, March 17, 2023 (10:30am CST) for the Women’s bracket.

Then join us on social media for updates all throughout the tournament. We’ll share updates on who is in the running to win $$ for their nonprofit. The competition will end following the National Championship games on Sunday, April 2, 2023 for the Women and Monday, April 3, 2023 for the Men.

Scoring (according to the CBS Sports website)

First Round: Each correct pick is worth 1 point. There is no bonus applied
Second Round: Each correct pick is worth 2 points. There is no bonus applied.
Sweet 16®: Each correct pick is worth 4 points. There is no bonus applied.
Elite 8®: Each correct pick is worth 8 points. There is no bonus applied.
Final Four®: Each correct pick is worth 16 points. There is no bonus applied.
Championship: Each correct pick is worth 32 points. There is no bonus applied.
Tiebreaker: The total score of the championship game.
