Bucks for Brackets: Nonprofit March Madness Tournament

2024 Rules and Eligibility

The Miller Group cares about family, fun and community. We invite you to join our March Madness group and win big for your nonprofit organization!

We have both a Men’s bracket pool and a Women’s bracket pool! You can submit a bracket for both or either one. 

Who is eligible

Employees of a 501(c)(3) organization may enter as representatives of their organization.

To qualify for the competition, participants must first complete The Miller Group’s entry form using a valid work email, prior to completing our CBS Sports bracket. Entry forms that use a personal email will be considered ineligible.

Prizes

First place – $1,250 check to your organization
Second place – $750 check to your organization
Third place – $500 check to your organization

• Only one winner per nonprofit per bracket will be recognized.
• You have the opportunity to win both brackets.
• The check will be made out to your organization and may not be used by you as an individual.

How it works

1. Register through our quick entry form using your nonprofit email.
2. Once registered, an automated email with a link to our brackets will head your way, so check your inbox.
3. Join The Miller Group Pool through CBS Sports and fill out your bracket after the selection shows on Sunday, March 17 and make your final picks before the first round of games begin on Thursday, March 21, 2024 for the Men’s bracket and Friday, March 22, 2024 for the Women’s bracket.

*After completing The Miller Group’s entry form with a valid work email, participants can then use their personal email to sign-up and complete their bracket through CBS Sports.

Join us on social media for updates all throughout the tournament. We’ll share updates on who is in the running to win $$ for their nonprofit.

The competition will end following the National Championship games on Sunday, April 7, 2024 for the Women and Monday, April 8, 2024 for the Men.

Scoring (according to the CBS Sports website)

First Round: Each correct pick is worth 1 point. There is no bonus applied
Second Round: Each correct pick is worth 2 points. There is no bonus applied.
Sweet 16®: Each correct pick is worth 4 points. There is no bonus applied.
Elite 8®: Each correct pick is worth 8 points. There is no bonus applied.
Final Four®: Each correct pick is worth 16 points. There is no bonus applied.
Championship: Each correct pick is worth 32 points. There is no bonus applied.
Tiebreaker: The total score of the championship game.
