The Miller Group, a top Midwest brokerage firm founded in 1961 with roots in the construction industry, is seeking an Account Coordinator to support its Surety team under the Director of Surety. Essential Duties:
- Issue original bonds.
- Scan/upload documents into client management systems.
- Assist in maintaining updated client data in client management systems.
- Sets up new customer accounts.
- Support client servicing activities.
- Responsible for invoicing and internal administration.
- Submit bond requests to the surety companies for approval.
- Renewal processes miscellaneous surety bonds
- Resolve client issues with a sense of urgency to avoid disruptions in client service and/or coverage.
- Gather underwriting information and assist in marketing tasks.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one-year previous experience in the insurance industry, preferred.
- Property & Casualty license is required within 30 days of employment.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and in writing.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
- Demonstrates excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
- Able to operate independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
- Able to work effectively in a fast pace environment.
- Demonstrates a strong interest and/or experience in technology.
- Able to independently apply objective decision-making to maintain productivity and client satisfaction.
